Team Project Video

Introduction

As part of the honors component of this course, students will conclude their Team Project with a final video that emphasizes reflection, teamwork, and communication. Once students have each completed the team project with your course teams, honors students will be grouped into new teams with fellow honors students. Each team will work together to create a final video presentation that showcases the work they have done on the Team Project and reflects on the experience of the Team Project as a whole.

The video should include the following elements:

• A title card or title scene that includes the full names of all team members, as well as each member’s course team number and email address, like what is included in the header for each assignment. (2 pts)

• A brief introduction to the overall project, including the motivation behind doing such a project and the methods that were used to create your project. This would be similar to what you would have included in your team final report (Demo Task 4) project motivation and project overview and methods. (4 pts)

• A brief explanation of each student’s code, including a description of the functions used, as in the Algorithm Design for the team final report (Demo Task 4). (8 pts)

• A comparison of the differences among the team members’ code solutions. (4 pts)

• A demonstration of how the code functions, including example inputs and outputs that explore several different test cases. This mimics the user manual from your team final report (Demo Task 4). (4 pts)

• A closing reflection section where the students as a team answer the following questions (6 pts):

• What did you learn from the project?

• Were there any parts of the project you struggled with?

• What did you find interesting or challenging about the project?

• The final video submission should be in an MP4 format, and the size of the file should not exceed \(\qty{500}{\mega\byte}\) due to limitations with Gradescope. Feel free to reach out to your instructor if you have any issues with creating the video file. (2 pts)

This assignment encourages honors students to think critically about the technical work they have completed for the Team Project, communicate their understanding of their code clearly, and reflect on the learning and problem-solving processes they used in this Team Project.
