16.1. Proposal - 5 points#

Before starting your individual project, you will submit a proposal that will be approved by the instructor and/or GTA. Please refer to the Guidelines for what your project needs to include.

At the beginning of the semester, you envisioned a Dream Project. Now, with foundational programming skills, revisit that idea and develop a realistic project inspired by it. Identify achievable features from your original vision, outline key functionalities, and plan how to bring these to life. Use your current skills to craft a proposal that combines your initial inspiration with what you can build today.

16.1.1. Task Instructions#

  1. Please download the template ip_ind_proposal_username.docx and save it as ip_ind_proposal_username.pdf. Be sure to replace username with your Purdue username.

  2. Refer to the rubric in Table 16.2 to guide you in crafting a strong proposal that meets the grading criteria.

  3. Submit as ip_ind_proposal_username.pdf on Gradescope.
